Conservation Coil cuts fuel, gas and water use by 60% while crafting runs slower. Fitted to the Fabricator, one coil turns 80 L of diesel into a 200 L container, about 3,000 L extra over its 25 uses.

How to install it
Install production enhancers on the metal plates beneath the Fabricator. Food Processor also accepts them. Each machine has 2 plates.
Crafting each item consumes 1 use. A spent module can only be dismantled.

How to Make Diesel With the Coil
A Small Diesel Container holds 200 L. Crafting one at the Fabricator takes a Storage Cylinder, Connector Ports and 200 L of diesel; it unlocks at Tier 4.
With one coil fitted, the 60% fuel saving means each 200 L container takes only 80 L of diesel, so every craft leaves you 120 L ahead.
With both plates holding a coil, a container takes about 40 L, roughly 5 to 1.
Craft the Storage Cylinders and Connector Ports before you fit the coils: every craft uses a charge, parts included.
It works the same way for other liquids and gases that come in a container.

- This worked through at least the summer of 2026. Whether Update 6 changed it is not known.
- Recycling a spent coil may give back the materials used to make it.
- Fitting a coil to the Food Processor from a distance can make the machine come loose and float; fit it standing close.
