The Last Caretaker Twin Jet: How to Get the TideRipper Twin from Still Listening
Short answer: Finish the Still Listening quest at Research Outpost Theta-9, under the sea at about 52, -34 on the map and roughly 200 m down. Bring a Photo Drone, batteries and cable, find the last survivor inside and sample the survivor’s hologram with the drone. The Twin Jet then unlocks as TIDERIPPER TWIN; open the Tools menu (T) to use it, not the build menu.
Game version: Early Access, Update 6; the TideRipper jets came with Update 5.0 (June 24, 2026)

Still Listening Walkthrough
How does Still Listening start?
You do not take it from anyone. Swim to the outpost and the game says Theta-9 is still broadcasting an emergency survivor flag; the quest then asks you to find a way in, search for the last survivor and sample the survivor’s hologram with a Photo Drone.
What do you need to bring?
A Photo Drone: the last step is to sample a hologram with it, and the quest cannot finish without one.
Also pack batteries for the deep dive and cable to power a terminal inside. Plug the cable into the terminal and switch it on.

Does the jet have a light?
The TideRipper’s light uses less power than the Eclipse, but it does not drive off leech swarms.
