The Last Caretaker Aged Lazarus Vial and Seed Containers: Use Them or Scrap Them?
Short answer: Scrap it. The Aged Lazarus Vial is junk: it cannot grow a human and no recipe uses it. Dismantling it gives an Ultra-Tech Scrap plus High-Tech, Tech, Aluminium, Copper, Wire Scraps and Broken Glass. The Aged Lazarus Seed Container and the Empty Human Seed Container are the same kind of junk, so scrap those too, unless you want one on display.

Can You Use the Aged Lazarus Vial?
What is the Aged Lazarus Vial?
It is junk. The game files the Aged Lazarus Vial with trash and decorations, and the word “aged” in a name is the hint: it is an old part of the Lazarus system, not a working one.
Can you grow a human from an Aged Lazarus Vial?
No. A vial holds no human seed, and seeds you carry to the Lazarus Complex travel in a Lazarus Pod instead. You cannot load the vial into a Lazarus Rack.

Is the vial or a seed container used in any recipe?
No recipe takes the Aged Lazarus Vial, the Aged Lazarus Seed Container or the Empty Human Seed Container as an ingredient.
Scrap It or Keep It?
Should you scrap the Aged Lazarus Vial?
Yes, scrap it with the Dismantle Tool. Each of the three gives an Ultra-Tech Scrap along with High-Tech Scraps, Tech Scraps, Aluminium Scraps and Copper Scraps; the vial adds Broken Glass and Wire Scraps. Scrap is the only real return you get from any of them.
The amounts are less settled than the kinds. The table uses the wiki’s numbers; the Update 6 game data lists one of each kind for all three items.

Is it worth keeping?
Only as decoration. Some players carry “aged” items home and line them up as a display, and the game treats them as decorations you can place. They do nothing else.
What about the Aged Lazerus Cylinder?
The Aged Lazerus Cylinder (the game spells it that way) is one more decoration of the same kind. The wiki lists Ultra-Tech, High-Tech, Tech, Aluminium, Wire and Copper Scraps when you dismantle it.
Where to Find One
Where do you find Aged Lazarus Vials?
One sits in the power room at Norfolk Grave, which is where many players see their first.
One player also saw two vials through a window behind a security level 3 door at the first relay station.
